2026 Day of Play!

The Northeast Louisiana Children's Museum is participating in Our World: Worldwide Day of Play September 26, a global play event presented by Nickelodeon and the Association of Children’s Museums!

The Northeast Louisiana Children's Museum announces their participation in Our World: Worldwide Day of Play on September 26, 2026! As a day dedicated to experiencing joyful learning through play, this event is focused on getting kids and their families up, out, and playing around. The Children’s Museum’s Day of Play includes hands-on STEM activities like making slime and more! All activities are included with admission fee from 10:00am-12:00pm at 323 Walnut Street in Monroe, LA.

Our World: Worldwide Day of Play is part of Nickelodeon’s Our World global initiative to inspire kidsand provide them with tools to activate their individual and collective agency. As part of a network of more than 360 ACM member children's museums who reach millions of families in North America, andthe over 1,450 museums participating in Museums for All, a national access initiative that ACM manages, The Northeast Louisiana Children's Museum is a vital collaborator in the Our World: Worldwide Day of Play.
